The Launch of The Lost Order

December 9, 2016

We have something extra-special planned for the launch of The Lost Order. A behind-the-scenes tour of the Smithsonian Castle, a building that figures prominently in the novel. On April 4th, Steve and Richard Stamm, the curator of the Castle (who is a character in the story), will lead a group of 50 people into all of the Castle’s nooks and crannies, visiting secret places the public never sees. You’ll learn how Steve wove the Castle, the Smithsonian Libraries, and the rich history of this storied institution into The Lost Order. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The event is designed as a fundraiser for the Smithsonian Libraries, so each ticket comes with a $1000 donation requirement. That gains you entrance to the tour and a signed copy of The Lost Order (which Steve will gladly personalize). The idea is to raise $50,000 for the libraries. This will be a great opportunity to interact with Steve, find out how he creates his stories, learn about a national treasure, and help the Smithsonian Libraries keep their doors open.

We recommend that, if you’re interested, act fast. These 50 slots will go quickly.
