“Berry’s at the height of his storytelling prowess in this elegant mix of historical speculation and non-stop thrills that takes Cotton Malone back to the English Tudors in order to solve the riddle of a modern day conspiracy. Add to that a father-son theme and you have the recipe for a tale as smart as it is chilling and as bold as it is brash. If you want to know everything a thriller is supposed to be, read Steve Berry.”

Holiday Decorations and Traditions
Reader’s Entertainment Magazine invited several authors to share their holiday decorations and traditions. Click here to read Steve’s article.
“This is my pride. It’s a Star Trek tree. It has all of Star Trek ornaments, save the first one which slipped past me. That is the original Enterprise and is a collector’s piece now. At the bottom right is a transporter toy form the 1970s. Inside is a Santa that appears and disappears, all to the sound effects from the transporter.”
FACEOFF, The New ITW Anthology
In June 2014, FaceOff, the new ITW anthology featuring tandem authors and their iconic protagonists “facing off” in new, original short stories, will be released. The stories in FaceOff will feature such pairings as Michael Connelly’s Hieronymous “Harry” Bosch joining forces with Dennis Lehane’s Patrick Kenzie in the story “Red Eye” and John Sandford’s Lucas Davenport teaming up with Jeffery Deaver’s Lincoln Rhyme in “Rhymes with Prey”. All of the contributors are ITW members and the project will be edited by ITW member and #1 New York Times bestselling author David Baldacci, who says, “This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity for readers. It’s only through ITW that we were able to bring these literary legends toe to toe. I’m honored to be at the helm of this amazing ship.” The Facebook fan page for FaceOff is now up and running. Click here to visit the page, like it, and share it with your Facebook friends. There’s also a preorder tab up with links to each retailer. We’re all excited about the book and hope you will enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed writing it. They’ll be lots more to come on this in 2014.
