Here’s a fascinating article about prison libraries and, in particular, the library at Guantanamo Bay Cuba. No surprise that escapism is the most popular subject, but it was fascinating to see that Steve’s book led the list of those most preferred. Check the article out here.
Tony DUrso, host of The Spotlight on the Voice America Internet Radio Network, recently interviewed Steve. They talked about his writing and books with a focus on The Lost Order. It’s a great interview. Click here to listen.
On April 4, 2017, Steve and Richard Stamm, Curator of the Smithsonian Castle and a character in The Lost Order, led a group of 50 people on a special behind-the-scenes tour hosted by the Smithsonian Libraries of the Smithsonian Castle. The group explored all of the Castle’s nooks and crannies, visiting secret places the public never sees, places that are part of The Lost Order. Prior to that, earlier in the day, Steve and Rick led a group from C-SPAN on the same tour which will be broadcast on Sunday, August 13 at 6 & 10 p.m. ET on C-SPAN3. Click here for a quick preview of the tour and broadcast and be sure to watch on the 13th.
