A New Fan

February 22, 2010

From TheBookStudio.com  – “I’m 28, and have never been much of a reader. While working as a music promoter for a short period of time I realized that I had lots of downtime during the day and while traveling from city to city. One day while shopping, in a store I will not mention because they are (a) horrible employers/corporation, I saw this book that caught my eye……The Amber Room. I’d never heard of it but something about the cover screamed, “MUST READ”. I finished the book in 4 days. Never had I finished a book, lack of interest in the topic, or my A.D.D., lol. Three years later and I’m still riding along with Cotton Malone.

Thank You, Steve Berry!!!!”

2009 Tour

February 15, 2010

Steve’s 2009 tour was a huge success. The Paris Vendetta hit stores December 1, but with Christmas, his tour is always delayed until January. Steve started in Greenville, North Carolina at Barnes & Noble, continued to Borders at Baileys Crossroads in Virginia, Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Fountain Bookstore in Richmond, Virginia.  He then moved on to Atlanta for 3 days with stops at the Eagle Eye Bookstore and the Norcross Cultural Arts Center.  Standing room only at each event, even with the cold weather. The tour then continued on to Phoenix with a stop at The Poisoned Pen bookstore, in Houston, Texas for an appearance at The Houston Museum of Natural Science, and on to Dallas, Texas, at Barnes & Noble. Steve and James Rollins were in Stuart, Florida, for an appearance at Bookmania!, then took a few days off to relax.  The tour continued on to Charleston, South Carolina, with a stop at Barnes & Noble on Sam Rittenberg, then to Pawleys Island, South Carolina, for an appearance at “The Moveable Feast”, followed by a book signing at Litchfield Books.  The tour continued with Steve and James Rollins making an appearance in Roseville, California, at Barnes & Noble on Wednesday.   Steve did a History Matters writing seminar and reception in Pleasanton, California, to benefit The Museum on Main. A big thank you to all who came out to support these two events and the Museum.  The last stop was in San Francisco for the San Francisco Writers Conference.  Steve and Elizabeth enjoyed talking to everyone that came out to the events.  Watch the upcoming events to see if he will be near you and come by to say hi.
