Here’s a FIRST look at the cover for the 14th Cotton Malone adventure, The Malta Exchange, coming to stores in the United States on March 19, 2019. The pope is dead. A conclave is about to begin. Cardinals are steadily arriving at the Vatican, but one has fled Rome—in search of a document that dates back to the 4th century and Constantine the Great. Cotton is after the same relic, as are the legendary Knights of Malta. So the hunt is on, and the election of the next pope hangs in the balance.

The next Cotton Malone adventure, The Bishop’s Pawn, releases (in the United States) on March 20, 2018. It’s a timely tale that deals with the murder of Martin Luther King, Jr., especially considering that 2018 is the 50th anniversary of his death. It’s also Cotton Malone’s first case, a flashback tale of how Cotton first came to work for the Justice Department and how the Magellan Billet was formed. It’s a story Steve has rolled around inside his head for over a decade, now finally coming to life. It’s one you’re going to enjoy, as it’s told all from Cotton’s point of view, a first person tale of intrigue and adventure.
Here’s a fascinating article about prison libraries and, in particular, the library at Guantanamo Bay Cuba. No surprise that escapism is the most popular subject, but it was fascinating to see that Steve’s book led the list of those most preferred. Check the article out here.
Tony DUrso, host of The Spotlight on the Voice America Internet Radio Network, recently interviewed Steve. They talked about his writing and books with a focus on The Lost Order. It’s a great interview. Click here to listen.
